Built as a solo project to solve a simple problem: clipping videos shouldn't require downloading heavy software. Started on Reddit where users kept asking for a fast, no-signup video clipper. Tech stack: Node.js, Express, ffmpeg, yt-dlp, vanilla JS frontend. Deployed on Railway. Future plans include more AI features, multi-language subtitle support, and team/batch workflows for content agencies.
